Cheryl got into a tense exchange with her Girls Aloud bandmates during a live interview with Scott Mills on Radio 2, as they struggled to agree on their setlist for the upcoming reunion tour.
The airwaves were buzzing with friendly banter as Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, and Nicola Roberts discussed what fans can expect from their much-anticipated shows. During the Monday show, Scott Mills was all ears as he quizzed the girls about whether they'd be spicing up their tour with some new cover tracks.
Nicola wasn't convinced, saying: "I don't think we've got space," but Cheryl was all for it, chiming in with: "I've said it several times, people like it!" However, Nadine wasn't having any of it, as she made her stance clear: "I was dead against it. I'm like we've got so many songs of Girls Aloud as our own.
Why do we need to be doing it?" But Cheryl stood her ground, insisting: "But we can add just one random cover, it's fun! " Scott couldn't help but jump in as the debate heated up, announcing: "You join as there is a slight disagreement with Girls Aloud in between whether they should do covers or just the hits. We'll be back after this..." When the show returned, the discussion was still in full swing, with the girls talking over each other until Scott tried to get a final answer: "Girls Aloud are here and they're still discussing whether they're going to do a cover version or just their hits.
Have we come to an agreement yet?" Cheryl pleaded with her fellow bandmates to allow her to finish her point, telling them: "I'm not saying we shouldn't be doing any," but was met with further interruptions from them before she pleaded "guys". Scott then stepped in to remind Cheryl she should be allowed to express her point,
