The Critics Choice Awards is on the move.

Chelsea Handler has been set to return as host of the Critics Choice Awards, which are gearing up for their 29th edition Sunday, January 14, 2024.
Organizer the Critics Choice Association confirmed Friday that the comedian, host and author will return to emcee the ceremony after debuting in the role last year. She took over from Taye Diggs, who had hosted the previous four years.
The 2024 Critics Choice Awards will air on The CW at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
“I am very happy and excited to be hosting the Critics Choice Awards again this year, as last year was one of the most fun nights I’ve had,” Handler said. “There is no greater reward than making fun of actors and then getting drunk with them afterward. It’s an honor.”
The Critics Choice Awards are bestowed annually to honor the year’s best in film and TV. Nomination ballots for movie awards went out to voting members today, to be returned December 8 ahead of the noms announcement December 13. On the TV side, nomination committee recommendations are due today, with nominations to be announced December 5.
The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards show will be executive produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment.
