William Earl TikTok has announced its first-ever live global music event for fans, with a lineup that includes Cardi B, Niall Horan, Anitta and Charlie Puth. The social media platform is set to host “In the Mix” at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona on December 10. In addition to the headliners, TikTok is planning to highlight musicians from its emerging artist program Elevate with performances from Kaliii, Isabel LaRosa, Sam Barber and Lu Kala.

Sia has filed a lawsuit in the hopes of exposing an identity thief who has been trying to access her unreleased music.The lawsuit has been filed against an unidentified John/Jane Doe defendant, who has been posing as the singer online and sending emails to industry insiders demanding access to her unreleased recordings.Although the exact identity of the person is not yet known, the culprit is thought to be living in California and has been illegally contacting people working in the music industry over the last few months pretending to be the musician.Sia – whose real name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler – has launched the lawsuit in the hopes of obtaining records from any email providers used by the alleged perpetrator to send the fraudulent messages, and to expose the person responsible.According to a report by Rolling Stone, the complaint states that the “defendant has emailed a number of persons in the music industry with whom plaintiff is acquainted, including California residents, identifying him or herself as plaintiff, using an email address containing plaintiff’s name”.

James Bay will play a fundraising gig in London next month to help raise money for food banks.Bay is teaming up with food bank donation platform Bankuet to raise money for those using food banks this winter. He will open up their Christmas 2023 #GiveFoodGiveJoy appeal by playing a gig at London’s Lafayette in King’s Cross on November 7.Tickets for the show will go on sale on October 18 to those on the James Bay and the Bankuet mailing lists here.
