Gogglebox's Malone family have given fans an update about their future on the Channel 4 show after many were concerned about their absence from the first episode of the new series.
Dad Tom Snr and mum Julie, along with their kids Shaun and Vanessa, have become favourites with fans of the show over the years but they announced that they will be missing from the second episode this week as well - but for a good reason.
Last Friday, the popular show returned for its 20th series and the Malones have posted on Instagram to explain their absence as it was really noticed by viewers. The family shared a photo of them standing in front of the Spaceship Earth, an attraction at Walt Disney World.
Tom Snr told fans: "Here we are on holiday. Jesus Christ you wouldn't feel like you're on holiday with this lot, I can tell you that.
"Right, we're in Florida so we're not there for the first couple of shows are we." Tom turned to his wife Julie for clarification before joking that they were standing in front of the Menai Bridge in Anglesey.
Julie then added: "I thought that was Blackpool Tower?" Tom turned back to look at where they were before agreeing: "I stand corrected, Blackpool Tower!
"See you in a couple of weeks, enjoy the show! Starts without us, but we'll be back soon." The Malone family captioned the post: "See you soon!"
