During the interview, the singer revealed that she didn’t make any money from the sales from her first two albums because of an unfair contract with her primary collaborators on the album, Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo of the hitmaking duo The Neptunes.

In an interview with The Guardian published on Thursday, Kelis has accused Pharrell and Chad Hugo, known together as the producing duo The Neptunes, of stealing the profits and publishing from her first two albums Kaleidoscope and Wanderland.

On the 20th anniversary of her debut album “Kaleidoscope,” Kelis shared some reflections on her career and the tea naturally started to spill.

Kelis has claimed Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo “blatantly lied to” her and she made nothing from the sales of her first two albums.

Much like the celebrated PEN15 from 2019, Chad has the main grown-up actor playing a teen, and at the Television Critics Association press tour Wednesday, Pedrad talked about transforming into a kid much, much younger than she really is. Nasim Pedrad first created her comedy, “Chad,” in which she also stars as the titular teenage Persian boy, in 2016. Then it was set up as a pilot at Fox, but now, as Iran is increasingly in the news due to Donald Trump’s strike on military leader Qassem Soleimani, the show prepares to launch its 10-episode first season on TBS.
