Celebs Go Dating star teases appearance from newly-single Helen Flanagan: 'She’d be lovely'

Last month, it was reported that Celebs Go Dating bosses are keen to get newly single Helen Flanagan signed up for the dating show following her split from Scott Sinclair. It was reported that Helen, 32, would be the "perfect candidate" for the show in the eyes of E4, after she and Scott, 34, went their separate ways last year. While it is yet to be confirmed if the Coronation Street actress will be signing up to find love again, CGD's Tom Read Wilson has said she would be a "lovely" addition to the programme.
He told OK!: "Oh gosh, I’m probably the last person to know who’s going to walk through those doors. "Perhaps they don’t think I can keep a secret. I usually find out a day before filming." He added: "But anyway if it’s true, I think Helen would be a lovely guest on the show." Speaking to The Sun, a source said of the show wanting Helen to take part: "Helen is the perfect candidate for Celebs Go Dating and E4 is hoping that she will agree to take part when they approach her for the new series.
"She is a television pro thanks to her time on Corrie and is incredibly glamorous. Helen would be the star signing for the show and the production team have put her name at the top of their wish list as they think she would be a hit with viewers.
