A Bury care home is joining the fight against coronavirus as one of the UK's first Nightingale care homes.
Gorsey Clough Nursing Home, in Tottington, will take on people well enough to be discharged from hospital but not yet ready to return to their own care home.
It will also provide end of life care to some of the sickest patients from nearby hospitals.
Preparations for the 11-bed facility, which will be kept separate from the rest of the home, have been taking place for almost a month
