Remarkably no-one was seriously injured following a horror crash on the East Lancs Road in which a car was pictured split in two.
The road was closed on Monday night following the smash near the junction with Chaddock Lane in Salford at about 10pm.
Pictures from the scene show a Vauxhall Vectra split in two on a grass verge.
Another car, thought to be a Mercedes, can also be seen inside the cordon.

Cops raced to reports of a collision to find the vehicle overturned in the middle of the road late last night. Officers from the Road Policing Unit shut down the road while they dealt with the incident.
