A car has ploughed through a shopping centre wall in Edinburgh, leaving shoppers utterly stunned.
The incident happened on Thursday, November 24 at Cameron Toll shopping centre on the city's Lady Road.
It is understood the driver was making an effort to park in a disabled space, before they lurched forward before colliding with a wall, with enough impact to smash right through it.
A passer-by who witnessed the heart-stopping event shared footage of it on social media platform, TikTok, and the clip quickly gained traction, with it now sitting at over 1,000 views, reports EdinburghLive.
The footage shows the vehicle appearing to have shot over a pavement before hammering through a small brick wall in the car park close to one of the main entrances.
The force of the unprecedented manoeuvre sent debris and bricks flying across the car park. The wall was also left in bits, and the motor appears to have taken a severe hit, too.
The car eventually came to an abrupt stop while teetering over the edge of a walkway. Several security staff members, donning high vis jackets, can be seen rushing to the scene to assist those involved.
The cause of the incident and any details of injuries are unknown.
Police Scotland and Cameron Toll shopping centre have been approached for comment.
