She had had her big career break at 16, playing the eponymous runaway teenager in Sue Brooks’s Looking for Grace, before a week later filming the part of Hedvig in Simon Stone’s film The Daughter, based on Henrik Ibsen’s play The Wild Duck. But the gamble would take time to pay off.

Star Wars spacecraft has died aged 90.  Colin Cantwell, a conceptual artist and designer, passed away at his home on 22 May, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed.  Cantwell was most well-known for creating the Death Star, TIE fighter and X-wing Starfighter in the hit 1980s Star Wars film series.

Wynonna and Ashley Judd thanked fans who stood by their mom, Naomi Judd, at CMT's "Naomi Judd: A River of Time" memorial special on Sunday — and have spoken out a few times to honor the late country music star since she died in April.  Over the weekend, the Judd daughters referred to their late mother as "a salty single mama" before thanking their family therapist for making the ceremony "a little lighter." The memorial was held at the Rynman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, and was hosted by Robin Roberts. The Big Lebowski actor Jack Kehler has died following a battle with leukaemia.The American star sadly suffered from complications after years of fighting the blood cancer. He was 75. Jack had an incredible career in Hollywood that spanned 40 years and also saw him star in major comedy films such as Pineapple Express.The star's family confirmed the news of his passing, and son Eddie shared that his dad had spent his last days in hospital in Los Angeles in a statement to Variety.
