Camilla in self-isolation as she tests positive for Covid-19 days after Prince Charles

Camilla has tested positive for coronavirus, a spokesperson for Clarence House has confirmed. A spokesperson said today: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has tested positive for COVID-19 and is self-isolating.
"We continue to follow government guidelines.” The announcement comes days after Camilla's husband Prince Charles tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday 10 February. Camilla has caught the virus for the first time while Charles contracted it for a second time, with the Duchess carrying out engagements last Thursday – the same day Charles tested positive.
However, Camilla described herself as 'luckily' negative the same day, saying of her testing regime during a visit to Buckinghamshire last Thursday: "I've taken it so many times". While the 95 year old monarch has seen the first in line to the throne recently, Buckingham Palace have reportedly refused to confirm or deny whether she is currently testing positive for the virus. Prince Charles held an investiture on Tuesday, February 8 at Windsor Castle, where the Queen is currently residing, but it's not yet clear how much contact they had.The monarch was confirmed to have had her first vaccination back in January 2021, with reports claiming she then had her second dose two months later in March.
