Pieces are still coming together for Kotler’s venture, which he will start with support from CAA, I hear.
Kotler is transitioning to media financing after two decades as an agent. He started his career in Gersh in 2003 and joined CAA as an agent in the TV department in January 2010.
Before his move to Los Angeles, Kotler was an intern at Chicago’s Second City in the late 1990s. His love for comedy carried over to his career in representation where he has been focused on comedy and animation.
