By signing Joe Rogan to mega deal, Spotify hopes to become more like Netflix

Mike Johnson wasn't cast as the Bachelor for season 24. Hart recalled the accident and the extent of it in Joe Rogan's podcast, reports ew.com. He was in the passenger seat when he was involved in a car crash in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in Los Angeles on September 1 last year. He fractured his spine in three places and had to undergo major surgery.

Joe Rogan’s podcast is getting a new home at Spotify.

Spotify has scored a major podcasting coup, inking a multiyear licensing deal to bring The Joe Rogan Experience exclusively to its audio streaming platform. The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, means that Spotify eventually will become the exclusive home for the popular podcast, which regularly ranks as one of the top podcasts on Apple’s charts.
