It's a BTS takeover in New York City!

BTS started one of the biggest days of their career in New York City, and they dressed impeccably for the occasion. The k-pop boy band released their new album Map of the Soul: 7 at midnight and were on the Today Show this morning promoting it.

The 19 songs in 7 comprise some of the K-pop band's best work and are also their most personal lyrics to date. The title song ON's Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima was also out for the world to devour as RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jungkook give it their all and provide us with intense lyrics and killer dance moves.

In one day, the world will finally get to listen to Map of the Soul: 7, which is amongst the highly anticipated albums of 2020. BTS have put their 'blood, sweat and tears' in what looks like their most personal album to date, as evidenced by the already released songs - Suga's Interlude: Shadow, J-Hope's Outro: Ego and Black Swan. The promotions for 7 will first kickstart in the US before the boys head back to Seoul for 7's Global Press Conference on February 24, 2020.

Elton John intends to play his remaining shows in New Zealand and Australia, his tour promoters said Monday (Feb. 17), a day after illness caused the singer to lose his voice and cut short a performance. Video clips posted online by fans at Sunday night’s performance showed John breaking down in tears as he told the cheering crowd he couldn’t go on any longer. The 72-year-old singer said he had walking pneumonia and was assisted off stage.

On Wednesday night, Big Sean documented some studio time with Nas on his Instagram Story. As HipHop-N-More points out, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper pressed Nas to reveal he is dropping a new album.

Coriky—the new band formed by Fugazi’s Ian Mackaye and Joe Lally, alongside Amy Farina—have announced their debut album. The self-titled LP arrives March 27 via Mackaye’s Dischord Records. After closing an $11.7 billion merger in December, ViacomCBS is expected to unveil a new streaming service in late February that draws from strengths of its recombined companies, a source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter.ViacomCBS, led by CEO Bob Bakish, is planning an expansion of CBS All Access, the streamer that launched in 2014, that would encompass brands like Comedy Central, Paramount Network, BET, MTV and CBS News, among other offerings.

Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien will release his debut solo album, Earth, as EOB, on April 17. Today he’s shared a new song from the record, “Shangri-La.” Check it out below, along with an album trailer in which O’Brien discusses the album’s creation.

Kate and Rio Ferdinand have announced the release date for their new documentary on being a stepfamily.Taking to Instagram, the pair, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Turkey last year, each shared a still from a scene of the show, where Kate can be seen wearing a black top with white shirt sleeves, leaving the shoulders bare, while Rio dons a simple grey T-shirt as he looks at his wife with adoring eyes.
