BTS Announces Live-Streamed Concert ‘Bang Bang Con’

Last year, BTS scored the most-liked tweet courtesy Jungkook. Kookie posted a video on the band's official Twitter account where he was dancing to Billie Eilish's Bad Guy. The ARMY showered him with love and as a result, the "Duh" tweet made history. However, he wasn't the only Korean celebrity who was hooked to the English song last year. We've discovered a video on Lee Min Ho's official Instagram account that shows the lead of The King: Eternal Monarch that shows he also enjoyed the song.

The wait is finally over. Big Hit Entertainment has released Suga's Agust D2. The K-Pop band agency has been teasing the mixtape for days now. While it was confused if it was Jungkook or Suga, the D-2 announcement revealed it was indeed Yoongi's highly anticipated Agust D2. Today, the Korean rapper has not only released the album but also dropped the music video of Agust D '대취타' MV and it has surpassed our expectations. The rapper travels back in time to deliver a jaw-dropping video. 

Just as the Korean pop industry was coming to terms with the developments involving BTS‘s Jungkook, SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu, NCT‘s Jaehyun, and ASTRO‘s Cha Eun Woo, the Korean entertainment industry finds itself tackling Cheongdam Party controversy.  Sports Kyunghyang reported that actress Once Again star Lee Min Jung, former After School member Lee Joo Yeon, T-Ara’s Hyomin, and actress Kim Hee Jung were spotted at a birthday party near Itaewon.

It was recently reported by Dispatch that four members from the 97 line were hanging out in Itaewon on April 25, 2020. Why the date is extremely important to note is because it was the same day when the Korean Center for Disease Control (KCDC) urged citizens to practice social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The members of BTS are set to headline a live stream concert next month (June 2020) after their Map Of The Soul tour was canceled amid the coronavirus.

BTS announced their upcoming online concert, BANG BANG CON The Live, on Thursday (May 14).

Korean director Bong Joon-ho became Hollywood’s darling as his movie “Parasite” swept the Oscars this year. Now, one of his earlier works is hitting the small screen as a TV show.

Earlier this year, BTS singer V stepped up to croon a soothing track for his friend Park Seo Joon's popular Korean drama show Itaewon Class. The singer sang Sweet Night for the show and it went on to shatter several records. It seems like Taehyung's fellow BTS member Jin is prompted to follow his footsteps and sing a song for his friend Yoo Seung Ho's show Memorist. Until a few weeks ago, the ARMY wasn't even aware that BTS singer Jin was friends with actor Yoo Seung Ho. 

At the end of April, BTS group members Suga, Jin, and Jimin posted a video on the Korean mobile app WeVerse, flaunting their best choreography to Daddy Yankee’s 2019 hit “Con Calma.”For nearly three minutes, the boys are seen jumping side-to-side, raising their hands, and swaying their bodies up and down as they follow the moves on the TV screen.
