The 73-year-old passed away at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee from complications related to the coronavirus. He was hospitalised last month and placed in intensive care for 13 days after testing positive for Covid-19.

Bruce Springsteen and his wife, fellow rock legend Patti Scialfa, were born in the U.S.A. — but more specifically, New Jersey! So, the talented husband and wife duo of course had to help out their home state for its special JERSEY 4 JERSEY benefit show that aired on April 22.
With over 88,000 cases and 4,000 deaths, New Jersey has been one of the states hit hardest by the coronavirus ever since it landed on U.S. shores.

An all-star benefit for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, JERSEY 4 JERSEY, will take place April 22 at 7 p.m. ET and feature a huge assortment of some of the state's favorite sons, daughters and supporters.
Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Bon Jovi, Halsey, and more artists will perform a benefit concert for the state of New Jersey to support its Pandemic Relief Fund. He was 73, and while both he and his wife were afflicted with the illness, she has since recovered.
