Bruce Springsteen and his wife, fellow rock legend Patti Scialfa, were born in the U.S.A. — but more specifically, New Jersey! So, the talented husband and wife duo of course had to help out their home state for its special JERSEY 4 JERSEY benefit show that aired on April 22.

With over 88,000 cases and 4,000 deaths, New Jersey has been one of the states hit hardest by the coronavirus ever since it landed on U.S. shores.

Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen will headline the JERSEY 4 JERSEY virtual benefit on Wednesday (April 22, 2020).

An all-star benefit for the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund, JERSEY 4 JERSEY, will take place April 22 at 7 p.m. ET and feature a huge assortment of some of the state's favorite sons, daughters and supporters.

Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Bon Jovi, Halsey, and more artists will perform a benefit concert for the state of New Jersey to support its Pandemic Relief Fund. Organized with the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund (NJPRF), the at-home performances will be broadcast on local television, radio, and online via Apple Music and E Street Radio on SiriusXM. Other performers include Tony Bennett, Charlie Puth, Chelsea Handler, and more.

Bruce Springsteen put on his DJ hat on Wednesday morning for an hour-long takeover of his SiriusXM E Street Radio show for the "Bruce Springsteen: From His Home, To Yours..." special, during which the rock icon played some of his favorite songs about hope, loneliness and solitude while sharing a few words of wisdom during our nationwide lockdown and paying homage to the loss of singer/songwriter John Prine.
