Britain's Got Talent contestant moves viewers to tears with 'brilliant' dance performance

Britain's Got Talent viewers were brought to tears tonight after Nathan and Joanne took to the stage to perform. The ballroom dancers performed an incredible Cha-Cha-Cha to Shakira's Try Everything. Joanne introduced herself and Nathan, who has Down's syndrome, and described her dance partner as "very cheeky".
She also revealed that judge Alesha Dixon had invited the pair to come and audition. Addressing the audience, Joanne said: "As you can see, he's got a wonderfully cheeky personality and just thrives on dancing. "And we're very excited because today we're going to be Nathan's favourite dance." Nathan even dedicated his dance to former Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli.
As their performance came to an end there were very few dry eyes left in the house - and of course the duo stormed into the next round with all four judges left impressed. Bruno described their dance as a "cheeky, sizzling, joyous Cha-Cha-Cha". Meanwhile, Amanda Holden said: "Nathan, I feel so proud of you.
"Your footwork was brilliant, your facial expressions were everything, you were just amazing." And Simon Cowell said: "We do get good dancers who are very boring on this show, but both of you have got such amazing personalities. "Even before you started I think everyone in this theatre was just going 'be brilliant' and you were brilliant and everything about this audition, I gotta tell you, I loved." And it wasn't just the judges and the audience who were left feeling emotional, but many viewers sat at home. Taking to Twitter, one fan admitted: "I’m already crying."
