The telco has teamed with YouTube to give free access to NFL Sunday Ticket — which provides every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game — for the 2023-24 season to eligible new and upgrading wireless and home internet customers. In late 2022, YouTube landed a seven-year deal for the NFL Sunday Ticket retail package, wresting it away from DirecTV (which inked a separate deal sell it to bars, restaurants and other commercial establishments).

The 2023 ceremony will be hosted by MatPat, creator of the Game Theorists, whose channels have in aggregate more than 36 million subscribers. “Hosting the Streamy Awards is like getting to throw a party for people I admire and whose content I love, and I’m thrilled to emcee an event that means so much in the community,” MatPat said in a statement.

In the premiere episode of “Full House Rewind,” Coulier speaks with series creator Jeff Franklin as they reminisce about working with Saget (who died last year) and talk about the pilot episode of the show that premiered in September 1987. They also discuss the fact that Saget wasn’t actually the first actor to play Danny Tanner (that was John Posey, but Posey appeared as the character only in an unaired pilot). But there’s been some question about whether such TV rewatch podcasts are allowed under the rules of SAG-AFTRA’s strike against studios and streaming providers.

Reps from seven “leading AI companies” — Amazon, Anthropic, Google, Inflection, Meta, Microsoft and OpenAI — are scheduled to attend an event Friday at the White House to announce that the Biden-Harris administration has secured voluntary commitments from the companies to “help move toward safe, secure, and transparent development of AI technology,” according to the White House.

The cancellations come after Ballinger, the YouTuber and performer who rose to fame with the awkward, lipstick-smeared Miranda Sings character, has faced accusations that she engaged in inappropriate conduct with young fans several years ago. Ballinger last month responded to the allegations that she formed improper relationships with teenagers, denying that she had “groomed” fans who were children. In a June 28 video, she denied the “lies” and “gossip” about her partly in song, while accompanying herself on a ukulele. “The only thing I’ve ever groomed is my two Persian cats / I’m not a groomer, just a loser / who didn’t understand I shouldn’t respond to fans / and I’m not a predator even a lot of you think so / because five years ago I made a fart joke,” Ballinger sang in the video.

The AI-generated story was headlined “A Chronological List of Star Wars Movies & TV Shows.” Among other issues, the article presents the titles in a numbered list that is not actually in chronological order. It also omits any mention of Disney+ series “Andor” and “The Book of Boba Fett” and lists the “Clone Wars” series as coming after the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” which is incorrect.
