Boris Johnson is “stable” in hospital and is in “good spirits” but remains in intensive care, Downing Street has said.
The update on the Prime Minister’s condition was issued as another cabinet Minister, Michael Gove, began self-isolating at home when a family member began displaying symptoms of coronavirus.
The Prime Minister’s Official Spokesman said: “The PM is being treated in intensive care, he was stable overnight and he remains in good spirits.”
