A body has been discovered near North Berwick during the search for a missing woman.
The discovery was made at around 7.20pm on Wednesday, May 8. While formal identification is still to take place the family of missing Helen Bunney has been informed of the discovery.
Helen, 63, was reported missing from the Lochbridge Road area of North Berwick on Tuesday, May 7.
Officers from Police Scotland say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 7.20pm on Wednesday, May 8, the body of a woman was found near North Berwick.
"Formal identification is still to take place however the family of Helen Bunney, who had been reported missing from North Berwick, have been informed.
"There are no suspicious circumstances."
