Two deputies from Florida have been found guilty of publicizing the news of Bob Saget‘s death before his wife Kelly Rizzo was able to get information about her husband’s passing.

Two Orange County, Florida sheriff's deputies were found guilty of disseminating information about Bob Saget's death before his wife, Kelly Rizzo, was able to get information on her husband's passing. ET obtained an internal investigation report from the Orange County Sheriff's office that details the spread of Saget's death from employees to social media before an official release was provided by the sheriff’s office’s public information officer.According to the report, deputies Emiliano Silva and Steven Reed violated the department’s dissemination of information directives by telling their friends and family members, who then posted the information on social media. Deputy Silva texted his brother that Bob Saget was dead. His brother then tweeted the information, saying, «RIP Bob Saget.»The Sheriff's communications department determined that this tweet was posted before Saget's family had been notified of his death, before the Sheriff's Office put out an official media release and before the homicide unit or medical examiner had even arrived on the scene.During this time, Kelly Rizzo was unable to receive any information from the hotel or police about Saget's condition and if he was alive or not.

Kelly Rizzo honored her late husband, Bob Saget, on a special night! On Sunday, the travel blogger attended the Fourth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards and accepted the Impact Award, which was posthumously awarded to the comedian and presented to his wife by his friend,John Stamos.  Rizzo took the stage in a rare appearance and praised her husband’s work during a tearful speech. «It's so wonderful to see how incredibly loved he still is by everybody, and I know that Bob would be so honored and so thrilled and so grateful to receive this award right now,» the 43-year-old said of her late husband.

John Stamos called out the 2022 Tony Awards for not including his costar, Bob Saget, in the «In Memoriam» section of the ceremony. Taking to Twitter to share his frustrations, Stamos wrote, «Disappointed to hear that @bobsaget will be LEFT OUT of the In Memoriam segment tonight @TheTonyawards. Bob was brilliant in The Drowsy Chaperone & Hand to God. Come on @BroadwayLeague and @TheWing! Do the right thing! According to Mayer, a younger version of Saget paid him a visit in his dream, which paved the way for an opportune moment.«The other night I had a dream and I woke up crying because I saw Bob,» he said.
