John Stamos, Jim Carrey new Netflix tribute to late comedian Bob Saget

Bob Saget wasn't something that was taken away from us, he was something that was given to us. ' That was the salute from Jim Carrey, 60, in a trailer for a new Netflix special honoring the late comedian, Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute. After the funny man died in January, his friends, including The Mask star, along with John Stamos, Chris Rock, Paul Rodriguez and many others, gathered together at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles to pay tribute.
And they decided to tape it. The result is a new Netflix special which debuts June 10. In the funny and moving preview for the posthumous salute, Bob's Full House co-star, John Stamos, 58, read what he said was the last text he received from his friend.
'I wanna read my last text from Bob. He said, "I love you so much. I will say that God gave me the brother that I wanted.
''' 'I said, "Well, you have a lot of God-given brothers, but I'm first, right?''''He said, "Mayer is an amazing friend, but he's more fair-weather. You're always there, so you're No. 1.
''' The Gravity singer can be seen laughing and clapping at the gag. When it was his turn to take the mic the Grammy winner said, 'He accepted us and acceptance is the boring part of love, but it's just as important. ''I think it's sad,' quipped Chris Rock, 57, 'that (expletive) had to die to get Jim Carrey back on stage.
' Saget's wife, Kelly Rizzo, also took paid honored her late husband, telling the crowd, 'The most important thing to him, she said, was belonging to this club, to this group, to being a comedian. 'Bob Saget was on a comedy tour in Florida when he died in his sleep at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando January 9 after accidentally sustaining blunt head trauma. He was 65.
