Soap stars partied late into the night on Saturday 11 June following the 2022 British Soap Awards. Many of the awards show attendees carried on the event at the awards after-party at Hackney Town Hall, with many of the nation’s favourite soap stars snapped either celebrating their wins or commiserating their losses following the ceremony.
Emmerdale was a big winner on the night, grabbing the award’s coveted Best Soap trophy, but they were also joined by stars from Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and EastEnders, who also had wins to celebrate from the night. Coronation Street’s Georgia Taylor was spotted laughing with friends following the ceremony.The actress, who plays Toyah Battersby on the soap, was spotted sipping on wine and laughing with co-stars as she joined in the post-show celebrations.

EastEnders’ star Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater on the soap, also seemed to be enjoying the party.The star wore a loose-fitting glittery top with white trousers for the event but by the end of the night had ditched her heels and was walking around barefoot in the street outside the venue.
She was seen leaving the party along with Lauren Socha, best known for starring as Kelly Bailey in E4's Misfits. Lauren also swapped her heels for something more comfy as she exited the venue in a pair of pink sandals.The two actresses were seen linking arms and cracking jokes as they made their exit together.
