Sam Faiers has revealed her sister Billie broke down in tears after being gifted with a helicopter trip over New York City because she didn’t want to go.The Faiers sisters are currently enjoying a trip to the Big Apple alongside their mum Suzanne Wells to celebrate Billie’s 30th birthday. But mother-of-two Billie was overcome with emotion after Sam gifted her with a surprise present - a helicopter ride over the city.

Twas the night before Oscar nominations and all through the ballroom, the Barker Hanger was buzzing as critics mixed and mingled with A-listers inside the 25th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday night. Big winners Life Achievement winner Eddie Murphy, #SeeHer honoree Kristen Bell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Bong Joon Ho played to the audience in the room and at home with top-notch speeches but Variety was inside the ballroom bringing you everything you didn’t see on television.

By now, you should all be aware that if there's a red carpet to be walked, Billy Porter will very much shut it down. And the future EGOT winner (just give him that Oscar already, please) did just that at Sunday's Critics' Choice Awards, in a silk jumpsuit designed by Hogan McLaughlin. But the standout detail of the look? A kaleidoscope of butterfly temporary tattoos, the work of Anna Bernabe, which spanned Porter's chest and arms.

Nominate Beyoncé for an award, and it's no guarantee she'll show up for the ceremony. The singer has a Critics' Choice Awards nomination tonight for her The Lion King song "Spirit," but it wasn't enough to get her to honor the ceremony with her presence.

This is her first red carpet of 2020 award season, and she killed it. If Rue went to an award show, she'd wear this.
