If ever there was a hairstyle that screams “holiday” then it has to be mermaid waves, and former TOWIE star Billie Faiers has just served up the perfect example of beachy hair done right.Taking to Instagram to share a few snaps to promote her new swimwear range with In The Style, the 32 year old posed in sunny Sorrento with her lengthy blonde hair styled in the perfect waves, paired with her signature soft glam make-up. And we have to say, she looks incredible.
Naturally Billie’s fans flocked to the comments section to tell her just how stunning she looked. "Wow absolutely stunning,” one follower wrote, as another added, “You are just beautiful Billie." Meanwhile a third follower chimed in with, "So beautiful" as a fourth agreed, "You are absolutely stunning." If you want to create the look for yourself, celebrity hairdresser Carl Bembridge, who was behind Billie’s Sorrento looks and has also worked with the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins, previously shared some of his top mermaid waves tips with OK!.
"I mainly use two mermaid wavers," he explained. "My favourites are the Mark Hill Pick ‘N’ Mix Waver, £16.99 here, and the Beauty Works Jumbo Waver, £70 here." "Section by section, I start clamping the hair from root to tip, with each new clamped section starting at the bottom of your previous section," Carl continued.
"This will get you a really flawless, uniform wave." When you come to using your beach waver or tong, be sure to split your hair up into several small sections so that your waves run the whole way through your hair. And if you want to try a heat free method? "Another way to get mermaid waves without a heated tool is to plait the hair while damp or with a little mousse and leave overnight," Carl
