Several Manchester United fans have unpacked their grievances with Andre Onana after the goalkeeper conceded three goals against Senegal amid an underwhelming display.
The Indomitable Lions are now facing an embarrassing group stage exit earning just one point across both games so far. Onana missed the opening 1-1 draw against Guinea having played for United against Tottenham a day earlier.
His flight to Yamoussoukro in the Ivory Coast was delayed but he managed to link up with his squad five hours before the match, only to be left out of the team. He started against Senegal but has been criticised for his performance after Cameroon conceded several sloppy goals.

Onana was particularly critiqued for being slow to get down to Sadio Mane’s stoppage-time sealer. The result means failure to beat Gambia on Tuesday will see Cameroon head home.
If that does materialise, Onana could be available for United’s next match a week on Sunday when they face Newport County in the FA Cup. Onana, therefore, would be able to continue his streak of playing every single minute for Erik ten Hag this season.
Altay Bayindir, also signed over the summer, is yet to make his debut with Tom Heaton also yet to get a look-in. This is despite a series of errors from Onana this season, with mistakes against Galatasaray and Bayern Munich costing United their Champions League participation.
A number of United fans are beginning to seriously worry about their No.1. Some on social media voiced their concern following Onana’s latest outing on Friday.
