Glyn opened up to hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary about how he connected strongly with religion again after visiting South East Asia to teach.The Welshman had been teaching in the UK for five years before he decided to move on to teach abroad in the region where he discovered a mass love for Christianity which eventually spurred him onto pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a priest.
“Christianity is growing on a massive scale in South East Asia so I went to the church there,” Glyn said on Thursday. “Even the other teachers were like 'would you like to come to Bible study class?’ and I’m like ‘ok then’ so I grew in faith as I went along with that. “When you’re in church is kind of like the ‘golden era’ you know like there’s thousands there, every seat is taken.
