As another episode of Britain’s Got Talent got underway on Saturday night, new judge Bruno Tonioli surprised a children’s dance group by personally inviting them to audition for the show while they were on a trip to Madam Tussauds. The youngsters, who were all part of dance group United 2 Dance were attending the waxwork museum when they stopped in front of a remarkably lifelike replica of the former Strictly Come Dancing judge.
Yet as they children paused to admire the statue, Bruno jumped to life and revealed he was actually there to invite them to appear on the show. So taken aback by the situation, one of the youngsters even asked the star “Are you real?”.
Bruno then flashed a charming smile and admitted: “I am real, you can touch me. I’m really real.” As the conversation progressed, Bruno then revealed why he was really there, as a mother of one of the children Olena got in touch with the show.
He explained: “You know why I'm here, because Olena got in touch with me to tell me how wonderful you have been to her and her son Nazari and how wonderful you have been to them since they came from Ukraine.” Bruno then added: “Helping them getting you a chance to dance and a chance to shine. Olena can you tell me all about it my darling.” Virtually in tears, Olena then responded: “I can't thank United students enough for everything that they done for my family and for my son.” “No words will ever be enough to say how we are grateful to United 2 Dance, they changed our life.” In a heartwarming twist, Bruno then revealed that they had been nominated to come and audition for the judges, with the episode then cutting to the stage where they youngsters were ready to perform.
