Red carpet gowns worn by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Viola Davis are to be auctioned to help raise funds for coronavirus relief efforts.

Scene-stealing gowns worn by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé are being auctioned off for charity.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez each shared a message about taking time to appreciate loved ones amid the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday. The celebrity power couple, like the rest of the country, is currently spending more time at home with their kids as social distancing guidelines force people to stay off the streets as best they can.

Last night, the nonprofit organization Robin Hood New York teamed up with iHeart Radio and held their virtual telethon to raise money to help those who have been affected by the coronavirus within the New York area. The telethon featured some big names including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Spike Lee, Alicia Keys, Barbara Streisand, Robert De Niro, and many other A-list celebrities, who lent their voices and talent for the cause.

Monday had a happy ending.  As the coronavirus pandemic wages on, the Hollywood stars virtually aligned in honor of Robin Hood and iHeartMedia's Rise Up New York! telethon on Monday. Bringing together celebrities with New York ties, including Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Billy Joel and Robert De Niro, the event focused on uplifting and supporting New Yorkers that have been hit hard by the virus.  The star-studded event simultaneously entertained and delivered on its goal.

Tina Fey shed tears after announcing that more than $115 million was raised toward supporting New Yorkers impacted by the coroanvirus during a virtual telethon. “Thank you, thank you,” said a tearful Fey, the host of the Rise Up New York! event Monday evening.The Emmy-winning actress along with other A-list celebrities, including Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez and Michael Strahan, asked for donations to help relief and recovery efforts.
