Congratulations are in order for Ben Shephard and his wife Annie Perks, who are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary on Monday, 25 March. As the new co-host of This Morning alongside Cat Deeley, 49 year old Ben is a well-known face on TV, but many of us don't know much about his personal life – including his relationship with Annie.
The TV presenter met his wife when he was a student at the University of Birmingham, and they've been married for two decades, reports the Mirror.
Ben and Annie began dating in 1995 and married after nearly a decade together, meaning they have been together for nearly 30 years. They mainly keep their family life private though Ben does regularly share snaps of walks they like taking together.
On their wedding anniversary in 2020, Ben penned a sweet note to his wife on Instagram, saying: “Can't quite believe another year has gone past, suddenly this one feels all the more poignant because of what's happening. “16 years married to @mrsannieshephard 25 years together and it's fair to say the current climate is seriously testing the strength of her feelings towards me.” While Annie prefers to stay away from the spotlight, she's done some pretty cool things in her career and has turned her love of interior design into a blog called The House Editor.
The pair share two children together, Sam and Jack, and before Annie became a mum she wrote for fashion and home magazines, such as House and Garden, Glamour, Elle Deco, Elle and Red.
