EXCLUSIVE: Ben Feldman (Superstore, Mad Men) has joined the cast of the AMC series Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches for Season 2 in a series regular role. He will portray Sam ‘Lark’ Larkin, a successful CEO of a genetics startup and Rowan’s (Alexandra Daddario) former boyfriend, who has re-entered her life.
Based on Rice’s best-selling trilogy, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches focuses on an intuitive young neurosurgeon, Rowan Fielding (Alexandra Daddario) who discovers that she is the unlikely heir to a family of witches. As she grapples with her newfound powers, she must contend with a sinister presence that has haunted her family for generations.
The series also stars Jack Huston as “Lasher,” Tongayi Chirisa as “Ciprien Grieve” and Hamlin as “Cortland Mayfair.” First-look images of the new season were released in February with additional castings including Alyssa Jirrels as a series regular, Ted Levine as a recurring guest star and Thora Birch as a guest star. The series returns later this year on AMC and AMC+.
Mayfair Witches is executive produced by Mark Johnson, showrunner Esta Spalding, Michelle Ashford and Tom Williams with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice. Season 2 is currently in production in in New Orleans, with the addition of Alyssa Jirrels (Fatal Attraction, Boo Bitch) as a series regular, Ted Levine (Big Sky, On Becoming a God in Central Florida) as a recurring guest star and Thora Birch (American Beauty, Hocus Pocus) as a guest star. The series returns later this year on AMC and AMC+.
