The 29-year-old has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season for Wanderers so far and it is hoped he could be back to add to that tally before the end of the present campaign.
Speaking last week, Wanderers boss Ian Evatt said he did not expect to see Isgrove back in action before April.
He said: ""We’ve given Lloyd some time off at the moment. Obviously he’s nowhere near being fit yet – he probably won’t be available until April time.
"He’s gone on his holiday somewhere because he’ll probably have to work throughout the summer with what he’s missed."
But Isgrove has taken to Instagram to provide a welcome boost on his recovery from injury after revealing he has returned to training on grass.
The winger posted a story of him wearing his football boots with the caption: "It's been a while. Back on ze grass!!"
If Isgrove is back for April, the first game he could play a part in is the clash at the DW Stadium against Wigan Athletic on April 2.
