Us Irish can count another celebrity among our ranks: TV host and survivalist Bear Grylls.
The former SAS serviceman, who is 45-years-old, shocked a crowd in Dublin when he revealed that he has an Irish passport at him at the Pendulum Summit this week.
His mother, whose maiden name is Ford, is ‘fully Irish’ according to Grylls, as is his grandmother.
He also revealed at the business convention that he now has an Irish passport.
