Dianne Buswell has opened up about how her boyfriend Joe Sugg feels about her close friendship with Bobby Brazier, as the duo continue to wow on Strictly Come Dancing. Strictly pro Dianne, 34, has formed a close bond with EastEnders star Bobby, 20, on the BBC show, and their chemistry on the dance floor hasn't gone unnoticed by fans. The dancer has been in a relationship with YouTube star Joe, 32, since 2018.
The couple met earlier that same year when they were partnered together on Strictly.
Dianne has revealed that as Joe is an ex-Strictly contestant, he "understands" the time and effort she has to put into every series, even if that means he doesn't get to see her much. Speaking to The Mirror, she explained: "I barely get to see him much. But he understands.
He was one of the contestants, so he understands how much time and energy it takes and how much the show means to me." Dianne went on to say that Joe is supportive no matter what she's up to with work and is also a fan of Bobby, who he has met a few times. "He's always supportive. Whatever I do with my dancing, he knows it's my job and it's my passion, and he's always been so supportive of me and Bobby," she added.
Dianne went to chat about Strictly and praised Bobby for his "passion and energy" on the dance floor. She said: "I love the fact he puts so much passion and energy into each performance and that's what I fell in love with in dancing, the whole telling a story aspect, and Bobby does that." Her latest comments come after she and Bobby left viewers gob-smacked when they "appeared to kiss" at the end of their performance on Saturday's Strictly. Bobby finished the steamy performance by wrapping his arms around Dianne, and then appeared to go in for a smooch
