BBC Strictly 'hopes to sign up' The Beckhams as first couple to compete against each other

Strictly Come Dancing could be set to make history as Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham are reportedly set to star when the show returns to the BBC later on this year. During its long run since starting in 2004, the show has never had a real-life couple competing against each other on that famous glittery dance floor.
But this might change with Brooklyn Beckham, 24, and Nicola Peltz, 29.
The couple, who married in 2022, are believed to be top of the list for celebrities that bosses want to take part in the next season of the popular competition. According to reports, it's thought that Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, and his actress wife would provide great television.
A source told The Sun: "Brooklyn and Nicola are very glam and perfectly fit the profile for the kind of celebs who bosses are after.
They'd love to get Brooklyn on the show as he is immediately recognisable to Strictly's core audience." Also, according to an insider, they think Nicola would be "brilliant" even though she's not so well known over here in the UK.
The same source added: "So to get them on the same show, competing against each other - that would be a producer's dream," reports The Daily Star. OK! has contacted Brooklyn and Nicola's reps for comment.
The Beckham clan recently supported Victoria, 49, during her Paris Fashion Week show, as her husband, David, 48, plus Brooklyn and Nicola, son Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12.
