BBC Strictly Come Dancing's 'heartbroken' Katya Jones shares another 'blow' as she says "I'm gutted"

Katya Jones has shared another 'blow' following her unexpected Strictly Come Dancing exit in a post on social media. The professional dancer was forced to withdraw from the competition just before the quarter-finals after celebrity partner Nigel Harman suffered an injury.
Major changes had to be made following the actor's sudden exit from the show - after he sustained a rib injury that left him in A&E. His withdrawal from the competition was announced just hours before the show was due to air.
Nigel has since admitted the injury had happened the day before, and that he was covering his pain during an appearance on It Takes Two on the Friday (December 1).

He still appeared on the show to talk to Claudia Winkleman alongside Katya, where he explained he'd been practising their Musicals week routine - a Charleston last night to Step in Time from Mary Poppins - when a leap off a 'rust box' left him on the floor.
After their live TV appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Katya took to Instagram where she addressed her followers and shared her thanks to those who supported her and Nigel as well as those behind-the-scenes - including friends - who the viewers don't get to see.
She also shared a clip of a 'camera block' - when the contestants perform their routine in the ballroom in front of the cameras before going live. Alongside it, Katya wrote: "I am also so gutted you won't get to see this number... Nigel truly shone and all together it was a real treat."
