BBC Gladiator viewers have been reliving their childhoods tonight with the reboot of the iconic competition show.
However, one Gladiator has brought back a lot of memories, with many drawing comparisons. Viper is the latest Gladiator who's becoming a quick fan favourite.
Some have even compared him to Wolf, the burly bodybuilder who became synonymous with the show in the '90s. Fans of the original show will remember Wolf for always pushing the rules in any event, often throwing him in conflict with referees.

And it seems Viper is going to be following in Wolf's footsteps after he was disqualified in tonight's episode. During the Collision event, Viper jumped off a trapeze to stop contestant Finley from crossing a bridge, which instantly led to a double-check from the refs.
Fans are similarly drawing the same comparisons, with one viewer writing on X, formerly Twitter: "I get the impression Viper's going to be the new Wolf. Cheating little bugger."
Another said: "I’m really enjoying the new #gladiators on BBC One. I remember the ITV series in the 90s. I see Viper is the new #wolf and #markclattenburg has already had to do one of the #johnanderson “x is disqualified” moments! Love it!"
A third said: "Nope my mistakes it Viper that has the Wolf energy". A fourth said: "Watching gladiators on @BBCOne. Viper clearly trying to be the new wolf. He's got nothing on wolf man"
While a fifth said: "So obviously Viper is the Wolf of the new clan."
