A BBC Bargain Hunt expert had a sharp four-word comment to make about an item, before a surprising loss on the competition show. In the program, even if a team has negative money, someone still wins and in this case, the blue team just managed to win - and they didn't hold back in teasing the other team. And during a tense episode of the BBC show, both teams made some bad choices with what they bought.
It was hard to tell who would win because both teams spent a lot of money.
The blue team spent £180 in total and paid £50 extra for a special item.
The red team used £219 and their special item made it £289. The blues picked an old wooden box for £40, then bought five cinema chairs for £75, and got a vintage toy for £65. An expert who looked at the items even joked about David Harper who helped them buy these things.
He joked: "Did David go to a local skip, what on earth was he thinking? ". But even with their strange buys, the blue team ended up losing only £35. David, who is 57, had a plan though as old cinema chairs can be worth a lot after they are fixed up.
But fixing them costs money usually, chairs that are already fixed are the ones that sell for more.
The chairs they bought were not in good shape. The red team were really excited to start their adventure, hoping to find some shiny and expensive jewellery. One of them said, "You never know you might get a bit of Tiffany".
They bought a pretty Chinese paperweight for £80, but it only sold for £40.
