The trailer for Warner Bros’ Barbie movie dropped this week, and fans have been quickly trying to figure out the main plot of the film, as not much is given away in the teasers we’ve seen.
The film looks like it’s going to be such a fun watch, however, one eagle-eyed TikTok’er noticed some Easter eggs that appear to give us a larger view of what might happen in the film!

TikTok creator Cat Quinn posted a video noting that Margot Robbie‘s Barbie is wearing a pink gingham dress, similar to the dress Dorothy wears in the classic film The Wizard of Oz.
In addition, Barbie drives past a movie theater with The Wizard of Oz posters and a Wizard of Oz marquee visible in the background. We’ve screengrabbed these moments from the trailer and put them in the gallery below.
In addition, at one point in the trailer, it appears as if Barbie goes for a drive down a pink brick road, similar to the Yellow Brick Road in the The Wizard of Oz.
“I think we’re looking at an epic journey to another world, filled with people that she helps along the way. But when she gets there, she realizes that this seemingly gilded place is actually pretty wicked. Will she ultimately realize there’s no place like home and tap her Barbie-pink slippers together three times?” Cat shared in her viral TikTok.
The film has an all-star cast with 11 total stars portraying Barbie and 5 stars playing Kens.
