The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer (April 5) had an interesting twist to keep viewers thoroughly entertained. This time, host Matt Lucas chose to don the contestant's apron and get his hands dirty alongside his fellow celebrity guests. Along with DJ Annie Mac, comedian Ed Gamble and rapper Example, he was tasked to make biscuits, donuts and even a novelty cake.

However, his "artisan" Arsenal biscuits did earn him the much sought-after handshake from Paul Hollywood. "His hands felt a bit coarse, like a builder's," Matt noted later on, as Example cheekily attributed the handshake to "nepotism".
And he wasn't completely wrong – judging by Hollywood stepping in earlier to help mold Lucas' dough. "Paul, darling, if you go on helping Matt, it will be very difficult when he wins," said Prue Leith as she was passing by. Everybody kneads good neighbours.

""Matt, you've got as long as you want," said Fielding. "Thank you. "However, it was Example who was crowned Star Baker by the judges after dazzling them with his impressive Australian landscape three-layered cake.
