BAFTA TV Awards 2021: Daisy May Cooper opts for a sequinned navy gown

The CMT Awards 2021 were held recently and the star-studded evening saw performances by Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert and more country music A-listers. The awards honouring the best of Country Music were hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown.

BAFTA.Paul Cooper appeared in This Country as Kerry’s villainous on screen dad Paul Mucklowe. He accepted his son’s BAFTA for Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme on his behalf on Sunday (June 6).“They’ve got one each now so there won’t be any more fighting,” Cooper told The Metro.

The Brits know how to bring it! Stars didn’t skimp on their style for the 2021 BAFTA TV Awards, showing up in some seriously fabulous fashion. 

The BAFTA Television Awards 2021 were held on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at London’s Television Centre. The event was held in keeping with the COVID-19 protocols and hosted some of the biggest celebrities from British Television who walked the red carpet looking their best.

I May Destroy You was the big winner at the BAFTA TV Awards 2021 tonight (June 6), which also saw Small Axe, Normal People and This Country take home prizes.The ceremony was hosted by Richard Ayoade for the second year in a row and broadcast online and on BBC One.Michaela Coel’s 2020 drama won the awards for Mini-Series and, for Coel, Leading Actress.

K.J. Yossman Michaela Coel, who wrote and starred in hit BBC/HBO drama “I May Destroy You,” dedicated the second of her two BAFTA Television awards to the show’s intimacy director, Ita O’Brien.Coel collected two golden masks this evening: one for mini-series and another for leading actress.
