Ashley told fans that sitting with his son is his "favourite kind of place" in a sweet post, and also paid tribute to his late daughter Azaylia, who tragically died aged just eight months in 2021 after she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia. "Sleeping on the job," Ashley penned.
"Truthfully, I can honestly say this is my favourite kind of place.

He went on to say sitting with Aliyas in his arms "brings back memories" of his time with late daughter Azaylia. "Looking at these pictures brings back memories to my favourite times with Azaylia.
There was something about holding her in my arms which allowed me to be consumed by that much love, that much happiness and that much contentment that I could fully relax in appreciation of simply the present moment," the 33 year old wrote.
He concluded his post: "I hold my pain because I can no longer do this with my daughter, but I count my blessings that I can now do this with my son." Ashley's followers flocked to support him, with one writing: "I'm glad your son is helping your heart heal a little. Even though it will never truly mind," and a second said: "Aw ash he’s lovely."
