Officers in Paisley stopped a driver in an allegedly stolen vehicle last week.
Police from the Paisley and Renfrewshire Division stopped a vehicle on Castle Street around 11am on Thursday, May 4, and police say the driver had no insurance or a licence and that the car had been reported stolen.
The 62-year-old male driver was arrested in relation to the incident.
A spokesperson from the force said: “Officers stopped a vehicle on Castle Street, Paisley. The male, aged 62, driving the vehicle was found to have no licence or insurance and checks revealed the vehicle was stolen. The male driver was arrested and charged. He will appear at court at a later date.”
