A young woman who had a large following as an Instagram influencer has been found dead on the side of a west Houston road -- a day after she was last seen leaving her house after an argument, according to reports. Houston police had been looking for 26-year-old Alexis Less Sharkey when they found a woman’s body Saturday on Red Haw Lane.

A manhunt continued Wednesday for a second suspect who remained at large just two days after Houston Police Sgt. Sean Rios was fatally gunned down after entering a hotel parking lot on his way to work, leaving behind four children.  The first suspect, Robert Soliz, 24, was arrested without incident at about 3:15 p.m.Tuesday during a traffic stop on Interstate 10 in west Houston on a warrant accusing him of Rios’ murder Monday.

A Houston police officer was shot and killed Monday afternoon after entering the parking lot of a hotel, according to reports.  A reporter Houston’s Fox 26 cited sources who said the off-duty officer was shot around 1:30 p.m. in his vehicle after pulling into the parking lot of the hotel 7600 block of North Interstate Highway 45.The officer made it to the lobby where he died, he said.
