Ant McPartlin is back on screens once again presenting hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. The 48 year old has become something of a national treasure thanks to his long-standing TV career alongside his good pal Declan Donnelly. Since appearing in BBC teen drama Byker Grove together in the 1990s, the pair have gone on to enjoy huge success as presenters - working on hit shows including SMTV Live, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain's Got Talent.
Ant has endured a well-documented battle with addiction - which began after he became hooked on prescription painkillers and alcohol following a knee operation in 2015. In 2018, he was involved in a car crash in London and later pleaded guilty to drink driving - getting a 20-month ban from driving. As a result, he took a break from presenting but made a triumphant return in 2019.
And two years later, in 2021, he married his current wife Anne-Marie Corbett. Anne-Marie, 48, met Ant when she began working as his personal assistant in 2017. She has been employed by the same London-based management company as Ali Astall, Declan Donnelly’s wife, for over a decade - but only started working closely with Ant six years ago.
Anne-Marie was previously married to her ex Scott Corbett and they had two children together. But they separated in October 2017. Ant, meanwhile, was previously married to Lisa Armstrong, 47.
She was a singer in the pop band Deuce during the 1990s but left her music career behind to become a make-up artist. Lisa, who worked on many of Ant's shows, became head of hair and make-up on Strictly Come Dancing, after stints on X Factor and Britain's Got Talent.
