Ant McPartlin melted hearts as he included his cherished stepdaughters while announcing the birth of his first child, a baby boy named Wilder Patrick McPartlin.
The Saturday Night Takeaway star broke the news on Instagram with a touching black-and-white photo of himself cuddling the newborn on his chest, showcasing a vast family tree tattoo on his shoulder that sweetly pays tribute to his wife and stepdaughters, Daisy and Poppy.
Eager to include his wife Anne-Marie Corbett's daughters in the special moment, Ant shared that the girls are "over the moon" about their new sibling. He captioned the adorable image: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54 am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess."
The endearing post also gave fans a glimpse of Ant's impressive family tree tattoo, where the names Amzie, Daisy, Poppy, Bumble, and Milo are intricately woven into the branches. 'Amzie' is a tender nod to Ant's affectionate nickname for his wife, which was revealed when they announced their engagement.
Along with his stepdaughters, the other two names are a tribute to their dogs, Milo and Bumble, with the presenter forking out £2,000 on the two cherished Maltipoo puppies in 2019. Ant previously had a Labrador named Hurley with his ex-wife Lisa Armstrong, who doesn't seem to be included in the artwork, according to OK!
A source close to the couple told The Sun about their baby joy: "This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are beyond delighted. It's no secret that Ant has always wanted children, but that it may never happen for him was something he had, sadly, come to terms with.", reports the Mirror.
