Lisa Armstrong has shared a heartfelt tribute to her late father on his birthday, nearly five years after his heartbreaking death.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist lost her beloved father in May 2019 aged 71, one year after he had been diagnosed with cancer. Lisa, 47, who was previously married to TV presenter Ant McPartlin, 48, took to Instagram on 12 April to share a post dedicated to her late dad, saying she misses him "more everyday". She shared a photo of her father with TV favourite Stephen Mulhern, with the pair smiling for the camera as Stephen, 47, pointed at him.
"Happy Heavenly Birthday to my Dear Pops. Miss you more & more everyday, love you forever & always….. #MyDegs #MyHero," Lisa captioned the post along with three red heart emojis.
Her followers flocked to share their support in the comments section, with one person penning: "It never gets any easier missing the ones you love the most." A second person said: "Awwwwwww bless you." Lisa's touching tribute comes after reports emerged claiming she is considering a move to Los Angeles following a challenging few years. She divorced husband Ant in 2018 and he quickly moved on with Anne-Marie Corbett, who he married in 2021. Lisa then began a relationship with boyfriend James Green in 2020, with the pair moving into her London home.
However, reports emerged in August 2023 claiming the couple had called time on their three-year relationship. Now, now there’s talk that a permanent move to LA could be on the cards for Lisa. “She’s been thinking about making some drastic changes – and LA is a great option for her,” a source told OK!.
