Anne Heche’s 20-year-old son Homer Laffoon just lost his mother, but he has had to step up to the plate and deal with legal matters. It was revealed Thursday his mother died without a will. Heche died tragically in Los Angeles on August 1 after crashing into a home.

Ellen DeGeneres has been photographed for the first time since the tragic death of her ex Anne Heche. On Wednesday, the couple was spotted in Montecito, CA, having lunch with girlfriend Portia de Rossi. Rightfully so, they seemed to be a bit overwhelmed by the paparazzi capturing their every move.

Anne Heche recalled telling Portia de Rossi not to pursue her ex-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres, during a 2021 episode of her "Better Together" podcast with Heather Duffy. In the YouTube video, Heche remembered how she "warned" de Rossi against beginning a relationship with the comedian. Heche and DeGeneres dated for three years before a public break up in 2000, where the actress suffered a mental health breakdown hours after the relationship ended.
