Anitta Dishes On Her Disney Park Inspired 'Coachella' Set & Teases Weekend #2!

Anitta is opening up to Billboard about just how much she went through to get here. The music mag visited the Brazilian superstar during her Coachella rehearsals to talk about her insane success, where she opened up about the difference between being a celebrity in her home of Rio De Janeiro, versus being internationally known.“Being an international artist is not only about being famous wherever you go, because the world is so big,” Anitta told the publication.

Anitta is waving the flag for her culture even if it didn’t always have her back.

EXCLUSIVE: LA-based Tricycle Logic has set a U.S. theatrical release for Lebanese director Oualid Mouaness’ debut feature, 1982. The coming-of-age drama premiered at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival where it won the NETPAC Award. It will release domestically beginning June 10 at the Quad Cinema in New York and on June 24 will expand to Los Angeles with a national rollout to follow throughout the summer.

Jem Aswad Senior Music EditorCity Parks Foundation has announced the 2022 season of Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage, New York City’s outdoor performing arts festival, bringing nearly 90 free and benefit shows to Central Park and 12 neighborhood parks across the five boroughs.Citywide parks and venues hosting SummerStage this season include Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, Von King Park and The Coney Island Amphitheater in Brooklyn, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, Crotona Park in the Bronx, Corporal Thompson Park in Staten Island, as well as the newly refurbished SummerStage flagship venue at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park.
